Attending university can be an important time in an individual’s spiritual journey. The Episcopal Church in Minnesota is committed to supporting students on their walk through higher education through both congregation-based community as well as specialized campus ministries.
University Episcopal Community, Minneapolis area
The University Episcopal Community (UEC) is a ministry of the people who study, work, and live at the Twin Cities campus of the University of Minnesota. The community worships on Sunday evenings at Grace Lutheran, 324 Harvard Street at 4:30 pm. Noonday prayer is offered in Dinkytown at 1313 5th St., SE, room 106b, every Wednesday at 12 noon. A free vegetarian lunch is served immediately following.
St. Paul’s On-The-Hill, St. Paul
St. Paul’s On-The-Hill in St. Paul has for years reached out to college students from St. Catherine’s, Macalester, Hamline, and the University of Minnesota. They welcome college students to all worship and have a Sunday Supper for college students and young adults. They also offer a 1st Sunday Young Adult Bible Study. The Rev.
