Circle of the Beloved
The Episcopal Church in Minnesota, together with St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, community organizers and neighbors, are launching Circle of the Beloved: the Minnesota branch of the Episcopal Service Corps. Five Residents will live in intentional community on the North side of Minneapolis and serve full time at Americorps sites that work to close opportunity gaps in Minnesota. At Circle, we intend to live together in intentional Christian community that acknowledges and deepens kinship across many lines of difference.
ECMN Retreat Center at Shattuck-St. Mary’s
The ECMN Retreat Center, completed in the fall of 2014, repurposed the 147-year-old historic Phelps Infirmary building on the campus of Shattuck-St. Mary’s in Faribault into an on-campus meeting space and retreat center. The building is 18,500 square feet in size and contains a catering kitchen, a bar and lounge, meeting space, and 12 guest suites. The Sheltering Arms Foundation
The Sheltering Arms Foundation’s mission is to enhance the lives of children and help them reach their full potential, especially those experiencing barriers to success. As a grantmaking organization, the Foundation supports programs benefiting children and their families in Minnesota who are most vulnerable, have least access to resources, and are least likely to have a wide array of choices about their future.

Guided by God’s vision of the common good as reflected in Jewish, Christian, and Islamic traditions, the Joint Religious Legislative Coalition (JRLC) mobilizes religious communities to influence public policy in Minnesota. Core values: human dignity, justice, democratic participation, spirituality of dialogue, prophetic leadership, credibility, action, and leadership development.
