With Eric Law and Bill Cruse of the Kaleidoscope Institute

Music and Worship by Andy Barnett and friends

What tools does your faith community have to listen deeply to the other during a time of division?

How can you be a grounded leader with gracious leadership skills to help people in your community to face the challenge of diversity in a very divisive world?

What’s your theological framework for living into conflict and reconciliation?

Join your fellow deacons and priests in ECMN for a time of retreat and learning together. With Eric Law and Bill Cruse of the Kaleidoscope Institute, we will learn tools that help faith communities become gracious participants in cross cultural conversations. We’ll learn skills to speak invitation into other spaces as well. Come and be refreshed: this is a time of respite and learning that will serve you well for the long haul.

We’ll be meeting at the Oak Ridge Conference Center (1 Oak Ridge Drive Chaska, MN 55318, USA), registration begins at 3pm, with social time and dinner starting at 5pm.

Workshop materials will be emailed to you the day of the conference and will be posted here.  If you have one, we recommend you bring a computer, tablet or mobile device to view these, as we will have limited printed copies available. It’s our intention and hope to be as green as possible, and this is a step in that direction.

You all should have received a note from Church Pension Group regarding a workshop being offered discussing the new Clergy Pension Plan, that will take place from 3-5pm on Tuesday.

Next week we will send some pre-conference reading materials from the Kaleidoscope Institute.  They’re not required, but can help to frame the learning for our time together.

All are welcome to join an informal choir under the leadership of the Theodicy jazz collective.  See the schedule below to take part.
