First Missional Innovative Partnership Grant Recipient of 2015-16 Program Year Announced

December 9, 2015

After reviewing Missional Innovative Partnership grant applications submitted for the first quarter of the 2015-2016 program year, we are excited to announce that the grant proposal submitted by the Episcopal Earthkeepers Circle, proposing a partnership with Minnesota Interfaith Power & Light, has been approved and will be funded without revision or changes for the amount of $3,840.

The application successfully demonstrated that this partnership will fulfill all criteria in the areas of Mission, Innovation, and Partnership. In addition, the partnership is sustainable because the Episcopal Earthkeepers Circle is actually a part of Minnesota Interfaith Power & Light.

The primary activities for the partnership will be contacting ECMN faith communities by phone to establish primary Earthkeepers contacts, encouraging faith communities to covenant to take next steps toward creation care appropriate to their context and previous work, and connecting faith communities with the resources of the Episcopal Earthkeepers and Minnesota Interfaith Power & Light.

Congratulations to the Episcopal Earthkeepers Circle!
