Interfaith Partners for Peace Discussion
Roundtable Discussion: Forgiveness
Sunday, February 25 at 4:00 p.m.
Bet Shalom Congregation
13613 Orchard Rd, Hopkins, MN 55305
What is forgiveness? Why does it matter? How do Jews, Christians and Muslims understand and practice forgiveness? These are some of the questions we will get to hear addressed and then discuss together in this first Roundtable Discussion. We hope you’ll join us for this great opportunity for interfaith conversation, understanding and friendship with neighbors of the Abrahamic faith traditions. All are welcome!
This roundtable is sponsored by Interfaith Partners for Peace: Adath Jeshruan Congregation, Bet Shalom Congregation, Northwest Islamic Community Center, St. Edwards the Confessor Episcopal Church, and Wayzata Community Church.
The Interfaith Partners for Peace Roundtable Discussion Series is designed to build relationships, understanding and conversation across the Abrahamic faith traditions, as a starting point for interfaith dialogue among neighbors. Focusing on a single topic for each Roundtable, we will hear brief presentations from Jewish, Christian and Muslim perspectives, followed by an opportunity to engage in conversation at tables. (And, of course, refreshments!)
