Position Opening: Manager at Episcopal House of Prayer, Collegeville

The Episcopal House of Prayer is seeking a Manager to oversee the administrative and operational functions of its retreat and rental spaces. The Manager reports to the Director but works independently as the main contact for all users of the space. This is a 24 hour per week position with flexible scheduling depending on event needs. This position is available December 1.

Position Opening: Parish Administrator at St. Anne's Episcopal Church, Sunfish Lake

Reporting to the Rector, the Parish Administrator will provide general office support to the staff, Vestry, congregation, and committees. This work includes, but is not limited to:

  • Member service – responding to telephone and email inquiries;
  • Managing records;
  • Managing member communications -- weekly newsletter, Facebook and other social media posts, maintaining website
  • Scheduling members to serve during weekly worship services (lectors, counters, ushers, etc.);
  • Scheduling use of church space;
  • Maintaining master calendar;
  • Managing supplies and inventory;
  • Reporting building and grounds repairs;
  • Supporting church ministries and committees;
  • Alerting the community about events – funerals, weddings, special events;
  • Attend weekly staff meeting.

The Parish Administrator is expected to be a welcoming and responsive presence in our church office and serve as a resource liaison for both members and non-members. Position Opening: Building Assistant at St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church, St. Paul

This position is a 15-18 hr / week position: weekday evenings 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm; Saturday mornings 9 am to noon. This job consists of routine work to maintain the cleanliness of our facility and grounds. Under the supervision of the Building Manager the Employee will receive general direction from a daily checklist, weekly task List and a monthly Special Detail list. There will be a printout of General Setups (only when issued). Work is evaluated through observation the next morning by the Building Manager and by inspection of completed tasks and General Setups. Position Opening: Nursery Care Provider at Christ Episcopal Church, Woodbury

Christ Episcopal Church strives to provide a safe and comfortable nursery that is attractive and welcoming to children and their parents. Because our children are so valued, the Nursery Care Provider is a paid ministry position under the direction of the Children and Youth Ministries Coordinator. It is an important part of that ministry to provide nurture that reflects the love of God and Christ to children between the time they are born until they start kindergarten. Position Opening: Choral Scholar at Gethsemane Church, Minneapolis

Gethsemane Church in downtown Minneapolis is now recruiting a choral scholar (Bass) to enhance and strengthen the church's choir. Gethsemane is one of the oldest churches in Minneapolis and has a long history of excellent music in worship. We currently have choral scholars for two stipended positions, alto and tenor, and now are seeking a bass choral scholar. The commitment would be from September through Pentecost, and will involve two Wednesday evening rehearsals per month (7:00-9:00 PM), and, typically, three or four Sunday mornings per month that would include a rehearsal (8:45-9:45 AM) followed by the service from 10:00-11:15 AM. The stipend is $40.00 per Wed. rehearsal or Sunday rehearsal/service.

Singers with strong musical independence, superior sight-reading skill, and an appreciation for choral singing are invited to apply.
