Welcome to Our Two New Missioners

The Episcopal Church in Minnesota (ECMN) welcomes Haddayr Copley-Woods, Missioner for Communications, and Jennifer Gamberg, Missioner for Finance. After vetting nearly 60 applications, a team of missioners and personnel committee members interviewed 12 finalists for the two positions and before Convention both missioners will be settling into their new positions.

Haddayr (hah-DAHR, like the ornamentation on Hebrew scriptures) joins us with a broad background as a writer and communications strategist. Her focus includes the nonprofit, social services and advertising sectors with specialty in media relations, PR and social media. She also writes regularly for MPR and publishes short stories.

Hailing from Illinois and New York with a real mix of city and country living, Haddayr lives with her family in Minneapolis.

Jennifer is an accountant and joins us from Carpenter Evert & Associates, a financial services consulting firm that ECMN has contracted for assistance over the past few years. Having contracted with ECMN for several months, Jennifer easily blends her hands-on expertise with a strategic understanding of our evolving financial systems.

Married to Dave Gamberg and the mother of twin boys, she and her family live in Shakopee. Originally from St. Petersburg on Florida’s panhandle, Minnesota has been her “four-season home” for the past 15 years. Jennifer’s family, friends, reading and volunteering with Minnesota Valley Mothers of Multiples and Midwest Booksellers Association, among other organizations, more than takes up her time outside of her workday.

We are grateful to God for these two new missioners who join their passion, ideas and gifts for ministry with our team of missioners who together support our faith communities as they seek transformation by engaging God’s mission.
