Student to Present at 2014 American Indian Science and Engineering Society Annual Conference

November 3, 2014

From Breck School:

Congratulations to senior Grant Two Bulls, who has been chosen to present his research in November at the 2014 American Indian Science and Engineering Society national conference  that will be held in Orlando in mid-November.

Grant drilled core samples in Lake Calhoun that included up to 200 years of sediment and then analyzed the core samples using loss-on-ignition and pollen counts to correlate social history to the ecological health of the lake. He  focused on the early 19th century Mdewakanton Dakota agricultural village called Cloud Man Village.
