Updates from ECMN Convention

Updates from ECMN Convention

It was a gift to be together at ECMN Convention this weekend. Thank you for taking the time to be together this weekend to build relationship and engage in holy listening and learning as we seek to be and build the Beloved Community.

Beloved Community

As you seek to continue your work to build Beloved Community in your context, visit https://creatingbelovedcommunity.org/ to find curriculum, books, facilitation, podcasts and more. These resources can be useful for individual learning as well as learning together as a group in your faith community or in your neighborhood.

ECMN Youth Commission and Youth Opportunities

Today at convention you heard some incredible and compelling words from your newly formed ECMN Youth Commission. Are you a young person, or do you know a young person? Check out the incredible opportunities throughout this year for youth to come together, build relationship and form the Beloved Community through retreats and camps. Click here for information on those events, and reach out to your Missioner for Children, Youth, Camp and Young Adults for more information sarah.b@episcopalmn.org

Your Missioners

There was a video from your Missioners - with a reminder - CALL THEM! You're doing a lot of exciting things in your faith community and neighborhood this year, and your Missioners are here to support your work and connect you to others doing this good work across the state.

General Convention Report

Today at convention, you heard from ECMN Deputies to General Convention. They shared about the structure and work of General Convention, and some of the actions and events that stood out to them from their experience this year.

Feel free to use this video that was shown at convention and all the videos on this site if you’re looking to host conversations at your faith community about General Convention!
