Announcing ECMN COVID-19 Adaptation Grant

Dear Friends in Christ,

In these unique times, faith communities have worked hard to adapt to this new reality of being church. The limitations to our activities this year has resulted in ECMN expenses being well under budget.

Because of this, ECMN Council has designated $70,000 of our anticipated budget surplus to be made available to faith communities for a new, one time, COVID-19 Adaptation Grant.

Faith Communities in ECMN are invited to apply for a grant of up to $5,000 meant to assist in adapting to the changing needs and circumstances brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

These funds can be used within the congregation and church or beyond your church in your neighborhood. Grants will be available to support outreach initiatives in your congregation and community, upgrades to technology, and any other way you are adapting to the changes brought about by the pandemic. All grants should be clear in linking the ways that the COVID-19 pandemic has shifted operations.

There is a Committee of ECMN Council that will review and make final decisions about the grants.

Grant applications are due Monday, October 26th at 5pm.
Grant awards will be announced in mid-November.

Grants can be submitted to your Missioner for Community Engagement, Rachel Babbitt at

Grants requests should be as specific as possible, detailing your current situation and your plans for the funds. In order to be considered, the application must include the following information:
