Lifelong ECMNer Wins Human Rights Award

Priscilla Hagerman, a life-long ECMNer, has been awarded the Inna Meiman Human Rights Award. The award honors a University of Minnesota student who has shown a commitment to protecting and preserving human rights.

Priscilla grew up attending church at St. George's in Saint Louis Park. She attended Episcopal Youth Music Camp every summer from 2009-2018. Priscilla served on the Leadership Team for two years, attended TEC, and went on several mission trips to the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota.

"My experiences in the Episcopal church largely taught me the importance of spreading love and kindness to everyone, no matter their identity or background. Learning about the meaning of agape was incredibly impactful. It has become a guiding principle for me and one of my largest motivations in working in human rights," said Priscilla.
