Minister for Children & Youth

The Rt. Rev. Craig Loya

Minister for Children & Youth

Applications are now being accepted for the position of Minister for Children and Youth. This is an important position on our staff that will build on the solid foundation of programming with children and youth in our diocese. Specifically, this person will oversee diocesan programs such as camps and retreats, work directly with congregations to support their ministries with children, youth, and families, facilitate collaboration between faith communities, and create and lead diocesan-wide spaces for multi-generational and family formation.

Please see here for the complete job description and how to apply, and please share this posting widely with your networks. I have appointed an advisory committee made up of stakeholders from around the diocese who will help me in discerning who God is calling to join us in this work. Applications will be accepted until February 4.

Nurturing the ministries that ground the young people in our care in the love and light of Jesus is among our most important responsibilities. I am excited to discover who will help shepherd this vital work into whatever God is calling us to do next.

If you have any questions about this position, please be in touch with Canon Kelsey Schuster at
