Clergy Conference: I Have Called You by Name. You are Mine.

This quote, taken from the Prophet Isaiah (43:1), is an invitation to come retreat with your fellow clergy from February 24th – 26th. Together, let’s take the time to rest in God, in community, and on our own. The love and care that God shows us can sometimes become obscured in especially trying times. Let us rediscover what it means to be called by our names and to have a God that loves us so intimately that we are one with God. 

With ample space for some talks, rest, community, prayer, breathing, and play, we hope you will join us for this retreat.

Our retreat leader is Brother James Dowd, OSB, Prior of Incarnation Monastery in Omaha, NE. Brother James is the founder of The Benedictine Way and has been a monk for many years. Before serving in Nebraska, he served at Holy Cross Monastery in West Park, NY and at Mariya uMama weThemba Monastery in Grahamstown, South Africa. Brother James is passionate about exploring the intersection of the quest for Christian social justice and the contemplative life. Before his years in monastic life, Brother James had a career in theater and television.

Friday, February 25
7am:   Centering Prayer - Ojibwa (Optional)
7:30am: Breakfast - Trapper’s Lodge (off Lobby)
8:30am:  Morning Prayer - Red Sands
9:00am:  Session II - White Sands 
10:00am: Individual breakout time
10:45am: Session III - White Sands
12pm: Lunch - White Sands
1-5pm: FREE TIME
5:30pm: Dinner - White Sands
6:30pm: Session IV - White Sands
7:30pm:   Compline - Red Sands

Saturday, February 26
7am:   Centering Prayer (Optional) - Ojibwa
7:30am:  Breakfast - Trapper’s Lodge (off Lobby)
8:30am:  Morning Prayer - Red Sands
9:00am:  Session V - White Sands
10:30am:  Closing Eucharist Service - Red Sands
11:30am:  Grab and Go lunch

All in-person attendees are required to be vaccinated and boosted.
