Deacon Winter Retreat

Deacon Winter Retreat:
Friday, December 3, 6-8:30pm & Saturday, December 4, 8am-4pm

On Friday evening, we are honored to have Bishop Loya, our newly minted Archdeacons , and Leaders from the Commission of the Diaconate with us for a town hall. Please bring your questions as we have ample time to share and converse while creating our own beloved community. We will then have a worship time to send us into the retreat.

On Saturday, we are excited to have Spiritual Directors Anne Maule Miller and Peter Watkins with us as we explore our topic of Self Care: Spiritual Practices.  We will take time together to look at the practices of  Deep Listening, Consolation, Desolation, Discernment, and Receiving.  We will have times for learning, sharing one on one and in groups, and plenty of break time to relax, eat, and reflect.  Come as yourself and focus on you for a day!
