Innovation Summit
On Saturday, November 1 the second annual ECMN Innovation Summit will take place at St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral from 10 am to 2 pm. Participants will try, debrief, and leave with spiritual practices they can use at home and share with their faith communities. They will also have the opportunity to hear from faithful lay and ordained leaders from all over Minnesota and engage in conversation about the ways the Holy Spirit is working in and through their faith communities, teaching them how to connect with spiritually curious neighbors.
Presenters will talk about specific ways they helped their congregations talk about God and discern what God’s Holy Spirit might be up to in the church’s neighborhood, increased their congregations’ spiritual vitality, and experimented with the hope of joining up with people Jesus loves who don’t go to church.
Last year around 50 people came from all over the state and the energy in the room was palpable. This is a great opportunity to learn with and from other Episcopalians, to exchange ideas, and to be inspired as we continue to live together as the Episcopal body of Christ at this challenging time. If you plan to come and would like food and handouts, please email Blair Pogue at blair.p@episcopalmn.org.
