Racial Justice and Healing Retreat

Due the current surge in ICE activity in Minnesota, the Racial Justice and Healing Commission has chosen to move their retreat scheduled for January 24th online, with a reschedule date for the full retreat experience later in the Spring.

The online gathering will focus on immigration - how we as people of faith ground ourselves in prayer and, from that solid foundation, move into action to support our communities, whether we ourselves are immigrants, or whether we are seeking to care for and support our family members, friends, neighbors, or fellow parishioners. The morning will contain group presentations, individual practices, small group sharing, prayer, and somatic practices. Resources will be supplied to prepare you for the morning and support your personal ministry in this area.

In this moment of fear and heartbreak, we will draw on the call of Christ and root ourselves in connection with one another in order to be sent out to do the work of justice.
