Community Engagement Paid Internship at First Nations Kitchen, Minneapolis

First Nations Kitchen is an outreach ministry of All Saints Indian Mission a historic Native faith community in the Episcopal Church in Minnesota. First Nations Kitchen (FNK) has been serving a Sunday dinner for the last ten years to both the Native community and to the larger South Minneapolis community. First Nations Kitchen is seeking an emerging leader to help further the vision of promoting food justice and food sovereignty in the Native Community by interfacing with other Native organizations who are doing similar work or are working in the Native Community. FNK is a supporter and purveyor of Tribal economic enterprises that focus on Indigenous ancestral food. The primary role of the Community Engagement Intern will be to connect with tribes, faith communities and other organizations to establish or strengthen partnerships. Children and Youth Ministry Leaders, St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church, St. Paul

Approx. 8 hrs/wk; Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings required. Share the gospel by being part of one of the most important ministries of the church, and equip children, youth, and their families with the knowledge and love of God so that they may thoughtfully and compassionately serve the world in God’s name. Children and Youth Ministry Leaders support the parish volunteer leaders with set up and clean up, classroom management, and occasionally preparing and presenting lessons on Wednesdays and Sundays.
