Mental health conditions and suicide are on the rise in our community. Faith leaders are often on the front line interacting with individuals or families struggling. This free training will examine best practices to recognize signs and take action to minimize a mental health crisis.

This event is hosted by the Trinity Episcopal Mental Health Initiative, but sponsored by WEST area faith communities as well as Tonka Cares and the Minnetonka Family Collaborative. It is an opportunity to network with other area faith leaders all experiencing mental health concerns in their communities. Interested staff from local support organizations are also welcome. Following this May event, a future networking meeting will be proposed to bring faith leaders together again to continue exploring community solutions to address mental health.

SafeTalk is an evidence based training to reduce suicide and will be presented by NAMI trainers. Funding is generously provided by the Minnetonka Family Collaborative.
